A favorite from Arizona Cocktail Week. This recipe was featured at our favorite spot in Phoenix, The Windsor, but we got the recipe so you can recreate this one at home with Whiskey and Prickly Pear Sour.
Opuntia Sour
- 2oz Whiskey Del Bac or Bourbon of choice
- 1oz Prickly Pear Sour⠀
- 1oz lemon juice
- 1 egg white
-Combine all in a shaker without ice. Dry shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
-Add ice and shake again for about 7-10 seconds.
-Double strain (use a Hawthorne strainer to hold back ice and fine mesh strainer over your glass) into a chilled coupe.
-Garnish with a swirl of luxardo syrup.
