Before we get into what makes our Fall seasonal, Cranberry Thyme, so special, let's talk about Grenadine.
A popular cocktail syrup found behind the bar, Grenadine has a tart and sweet flavor with a bright red color. It's found in classic drink recipes like a Tequila Sunrise, Jack Rose, or Shirley Temple.
Grenadine comes from the French word grenade meaning pomegranate. Unless you are making your own grenadine syrup or purchasing from small-batch companies like us, you're going to find artificial flavoring and red dyes in the syrup...and practically no pomegranate.
That is why we LOVE this seasonal mixer. Cranberry Thyme starts with 100% pomegranate juice and fresh cranberries. We steep thyme sprigs to add a savory herbal note that rings true to the holidays. This is our festive take on the traditional Grenadine and it's only made this time of year.
Cranberry Thyme is perfect with light spirits like gin or vodka. Add a splash to sparkling wine or water. Pair with a dark spirit like whiskey to make a rich holiday inspired Manhattan.
The new seasonal is now on the website and will be until the new year.
Cheers!
