We’re at it again with a new limited release mixer that showcases our wonderful desert. A truly local flavor made with dates from Agritopia Farm and foraged mesquite pods, Mesquite Date is wonderfully rich with a distinctive tang.
It’s officially date season in the desert so we are bringing this flavor to you once again! We are working with Agritopia Farms in Gilbert, Arizona and using their delectable Medjool dates grown right on their orchard. Locally foraged mesquite pods are brewed like a tea to create almost a smokey, cereal grain flavor profile. These two flavors come together with brown sugar to make a tangy, rich mixer that shines for Autumn.
Made for a limited time, Mesquite Date is a special flavor that is perfect for Fall. This is a full-bodied mixer that shines with dark spirits like whiskey, bourbon, or spiced rum. Explore the more lusty light spirits like mezcal or silver rum. When making a cocktail with Mesquite Date, we recommend shaking with ice to experience everything this flavor has to offer.
While most of our flavors can be easily enjoyed simply with a splash of sparkling water and your favorite spirit, Mesquite Date is your more advanced mixer for the season. Spend time learning how to take your cocktail and mocktails to the next level. In this blog post, we’re sharing a collection of Matt Farrow’s personal recipes that he put together featuring Mesquite Date. These recipes have a few more steps than you might be used to. This is your time to shine as a home bartender and celebrate this treasure of our Arizona desert!
