Here’s a fun fact for you! When Matt and I started Iconic Cocktail Co., we were trying to figure out how we would open our bar. After many brain-dump sessions, we decided to work backwards and avoid the overhead, and so Iconic was born...as a catering company. We wanted to create signature cocktails for weddings, special events, and parties that were more than artificial and sticky sweet. It wasn’t long before we pivoted our business to create a line of all natural, low-sugar, small batch cocktail mixers.

Opening a bar is still our goal and we are closer than ever before. Be sure to stay tuned as we share announcements! Until then, we partner with local distilleries and work behind their bars to offer unique cocktail menus with Iconic’s mixers. It’s a way to preview what we’ll be doing at our place and explore the amazing spirits made here in Arizona. #locallove

Late September, we spent the evening with our friends at CaskWerks Distilling Co. hosting a bar takeover featuring their spirits. John is a master of making smooth and inspired spirits including a double gold winning Tea Infused Gin and a truly unique Apple Pie Liquor.  

We want to share these recipes for you to create at home! Pick up any CaskWerks spirits at their tasting room in Tempe, AZ and shop online to get your favorite cocktails mixers right here!

TEA TIME

 

  • 1.5 oz CaskWerks Tea Infused Gin

  • 1 oz Lime Leaf Tonic

  • 2 oz Grapefruit Juice

-Combine all and shake with ice.

-Strain into a short glass with fresh ice.

-Garnish with a grapefruit

SONORAN DESERT

-Combine ingredients in a shaker without ice and shake vigorously

-Add ice and shake again (known as a double shake)

-Strain into a chilled coupe over a cone strainer

 

AMERICAN DANDY 

 

  • 1.5 oz Caskwerks Apple Pie Liquor

  • .5 oz Caskwerks Vodka

  • .75 oz Cascara Vanilla

  • 4 drops Orange Sunshine Bitters

-Combine all in a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled

-Strain into a chilled coupe with a sugar-pepper

TIP TOP

 

  • 2 oz Sparkling Water

  • 1.5 oz CaskWerks Vodka

  • 2 oz Watermelon Rose Tonic

  • .5 oz Lime juice

-Build in a collins glass over ice.

-Stir to combine

-Garnish with a edible flower and lime wheel
